Christmas in Chelsea
Perhaps one of London’s prettiest neighbourhoods, the picture-perfect streets of Chelsea are well worth exploring come the festive season. With magical light displays, shopping stalwarts, Christmas concerts and, of course, our very own restaurant space, there’s something for everyone in this part of town we call home.
Shopping
From the boutiques of King’s Road to the iconic Peter Jones on Sloane Square, you will find your Christmas shopping needs fulfilled in Chelsea. Meanwhile local institution Partridge’s is the place to pick up gifts for any food-lover; and the Fine Food Market on Saturdays is also well-worth a visit.
At the Chelsea Physic Garden you can find independent traders aplenty from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th November for their annual festive market.
Getting in the festive spirit
Over at Cadogan Hall, festive programming includes traditional carol services, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Christmas Cracker and The Snowman.
New for the season, Chelsea is getting its own light trail at the iconic Royal Hospital. Taking over Ranelagh Gardens, the trail is open from 4th until 29th December.
Dining…
If you should find yourself in need of a pick-me-up after a busy day shopping or perhaps before catching a show, then our team is always ready to welcome you at Colbert.
From 13th November until 3rd January, you can enjoy our festive menu specials – think roasted Venison Loin with Celeriac Purée and Blackberries or a dessert of Mulled Winter Berries with crème fraiche.
