Christmas in Chelsea

Perhaps one of London’s prettiest neighbourhoods, the picture-perfect streets of Chelsea are well worth exploring come the festive season. With magical light displays, shopping stalwarts, Christmas concerts and, of course, our very own restaurant space, there’s something for everyone in this part of town we call home.
Shopping
From the boutiques of King’s Road to the iconic Peter Jones on Sloane Square, you will find your Christmas shopping needs fulfilled in Chelsea. Meanwhile local institution Partridge’s is the place to pick up gifts for any food-lover; and the Fine Food Market on Saturdays is also well-worth a visit.
Getting in the festive spirit
Over at Cadogan Hall, festive programming includes traditional carol services, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Christmas Cracker and The Snowman in concert.
The Chelsea Christmas lights switch on falls on 15 November this year, an afternoon of cosy merriment, many gather in the neighbourhood to kick off the festive period. Huddle close near Colbert on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November 2025, as we offer traditional French crepes to take away, alongside a warming cup of mulled wine.
Dining…
If you should find yourself in need of a pick-me-up after a busy day shopping or perhaps before catching a show, then our team is always ready to welcome you at Colbert.
